WILKERSON EUGENE F. WILKERSON On December 3, 2007, beloved father of Eugene F. Neal, Sr. He is also survived by a grandson, Eugene F. Neal, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, from 9 a.m. until time of service 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 313 Second St., NE. Interment Harmony Memorial Park. Arrangements by POPE FUNERAL HOME.

I grew up in the house across the street from "Mr. Gene" and have known him all my life. He was a neighborhood institution, and it will seem strange to be on 10th street and not see Mr. Gene. He always had a kind word and a cheerful smile. I will never forget his kindness to my grandmother after the passing of my grandfather. My sincerest and deepest sympathy to his family. He will be truly missed.
