What a delight it is to have known Flora! We met through the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. Without a doubt, she was a grand ambassador, sharing her experiences as a survivor and introducing the museum to its visitors. She will be greatly missed. Her graciousness and her lovely personality will be treasured memories for all who had the good fortune to know her. Our sincerest condolences to Jack and her loving family.

I met Jack and Flora when I first started working at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum over ten years ago. We liked each other immediately and became friends, primarily meeting and occasionally having lunch together on Thursdays when they volunteered to work at the Museum's donor desk. Flora and I worked closely on developing her manuscript, FLORA, I WAS BUT A CHILD. We worked well together in this intimate and trusting atmosphere. I came to appreciate her love and unconditional support as a friend. I will miss Flora greatly and will think of her often.

I will always treasure my eight years working with Flora at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's speakers bureau. Her broad smile and many kindnesses to me and to my family will be my Flora Singer memories. I was honored to be her escort and to watch her testimony touch and influence so many.
God Bless Flora for keeping her promise and also Jack whose love and devotion helped make it possible.

It was one of the joys of my life to know and work with you. I, like so very many others, will miss you terribly. You were a wonderful person who did so much good.
