My deepest sympathy to the family of the late Gwendolyn Wood, I am the grandmother of Chaniece Thomas, and Malik Bates who are students at Wheatley Elementary, the daycare program also where we would talk all the time. Mrs. Wood loved children. I know this is a very hard time for the family, times like this is when the family should have a strong bond together. I know you loved her, but God loved her best, and wanted her to have rest. Be happy for her, because, she's now in the house of the Lord where she has no more PAIN, SORROW, OR WORRIES. Just keep the faith in the Lord, and one day you may see her again in God's house. May peace be with you all.

On behalf of myself, my daughter, Chaniece Thomas and son, Malik Bates, I express our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Wood's family. My children are students at Wheatley Elementary. I know that they'll miss seeing Mrs. Wood at school. We will keep the Wood family in our prayers.
May heaven smile upon you!
