Family: I was sorry to learn of Harry's passing. I enjoyed his friendship and working with him at the Department of Transportation. Harry had a great smile and could make one laugh easily. May you find comfort in your memories of Harry. Peace be to you and blessings for strength and healing.

I will miss Harry - with his passing I realize just how prominent a role he had in my life during my public school years (1958-1966). He was my oldest friend, having become best buddies (the so-called Flack St. "irregulars") when his family first moved to Glenmont circa 1958. Spent much time in the company of his father (a great parent and unoffical coach to all of us kids), his dear mother and younger brother, Ricky. We were into typical kids' sports, did what all late 1950s era kids were doing. We attended the public schools (Weller Rd., Belt Jr. High and WHS) Together we participated in the public school instrumental music programs including the marching bands, dance bands, high school musical orchestras, safety patrols, etc. from 4th grade through 12th grade. Our first dates were in the form of a double date back in 1962 (ladies-you know who you are). We even triple dated (along with my other closest high school buddy, Tony Borja) to the Wheaton High School senior prom in June 1966. Later on, I also often was in Harry's company when he was first courting his first wife - Julie - who lived in DC. I believe that Julie had been his senior prom date.
Although we seldom saw each other in adult life, we did have one last opportunity to visit at the Montgomery Village Golf Club some 4 years ago, along with fellow WHS classmate Richard Yeh. A lot of memories.
Rest in peace, old friend.
