The Farrell Family lived across from us on Anacostia Road Southest DC and went to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. I want to express my sympathies to the family on the loss of Jere. I remember them well and Jere was a great guy. His brother John was in class with me at Our Lady Queen of Peace (and we have been in touch through Classmates). I remember how kind his mother Elizabeth was especially when our family dog "Queenie" passed and she helped take care of her (she had been with us for almost 20 years) for our family. The Farrell's were great friends and neighbors. The Cagnazzo family wishes the Farrell family all the best and may Jere Rest in Peace - God Bless you all. (John this was a great "tribute" that you wrote for "your hero")
