MAJID NAVIDI
Majid Navidi passed away peacefully at home on June 20, 2014, amidst his loving family. He showed great dignity and courage in dealing with his Congestive Heart Failure. Majid was born on February 17, 1927 in Tabriz, Iran, to Ali Navidi and Badri Bassiri. Majid completed a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nebraska and a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa. He was employed by the National Iranian Oil Company during his entire professional career. In 1956, he married Iran Ramezani, and together they had three children, Mandana, Arsalan and Ali and were blessed with one grandchild, Nicholas. Majid's charm, good humor and great stories will be greatly missed by his entire family. A service will be held at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Avenue, (Route 28, just off I-270, exit 6-A) Rockville, MD 20850 on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10 AM. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.
