BERK MAURICE HARRIS BERK (Age 87) On Saturday, May 24, 2008, of Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of Carole A. Berk; loving father of Jessica (Alan) Dolleck, Anton Berk, Stephanie Berk and Debra Greenwald; devoted stepfather of Bradford (Debbie) Dockser, Evan (Kitty) Dockser and Karen Dockser (Vinnie) Walter; cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Jason and Jonathan Greenwald, Jacob, Alec and Zoe Dockser, Samantha and Drew Dockser, Brady and Charly Walter. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 26, 10:30 a.m. at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. Family will be receiving friends following interment through Tuesday evening at the residence of Carole Berk. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Arrangements by DANZANSKY-GOLDBERG MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC., 301-340-1400.

To Carole: You may not remember me, but I was Berk's secretary for 5 years and loved him dearly. My name then was Anne Hause. He was truly a gem to work for. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

To the family,
death is a enemy, but we have a promise from Gods' Word the Bible that says' '' that death will be no more.'' Jesus know how it feels to lose someone in death, when his friend Lazarus died the Bible says' ''Jesus gave way to tears.''[John 11:33,34] This did not mean he did not have hope, he felt the pain and sorrow death brings. It teaches us he and his Father, Jehovah, hate death. I hope these few words bring you a little comfort.
