PATRICK COLLINS Obituary
PATRICK JOHN COLLINS (Age 84)
Passed away April 29, 2014. Pat was born November, 1929 in Washington, DC son of the late Thomas and Katherine (Kitty) Collins. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Collins. He remained in the area throughout his life, attending University of Maryland, built several housing developments in both Maryland and Virginia, and owned restaurants in DC. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joan, one daughter, Christine (Jake) Jacobson, and four sons, James (Megan), William (Robyn), Paul (Ana) and Philip (Stacey); 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial services will be held at Little Flower Parish, 5607 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD on Tuesday, May 20 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Holy Cross Hospice 11800 Tech Road Suite 240 Silver Spring, MD, 20904, attn: Louise M Faulkner.
