PAUL WALLNER Obituary


Paul Wallner  
Passed January 23, 2020. He was born in 1939, the first son of the late Gwendolyn and Ernest Wallner. Paul was a graduate of Chinook High School (MT), New Mexico Military Institute, University of Montana, and George Washington University. He was an alumnus of the Federal Executive Institute, Harvard's JFK Senior Manager's Program and NATO Defense College in Rome, Italy. Paul was in the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service and a public servant for 43 years with the Department of Defense. Paul was married to Diane (Miller) for 57 years. They raised two daughters, Leslie and Abigail and Paul was the Pepaw to three grandchildren. Paul is also survived by a sister, brother and niece. Paul was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on October 27, 2020 as the bag piper played Amazing Grace.
