Beloved husband of Bonnie Abeles; devoted father of Bryan Abeles, Michelle Oppenheim (Steve), Debbie Teitel, Stacey Stirmer (Lloyd), Marilyn Wood; loving grandfather of Jenna Stirmer, Hannah Hartman (Chris), Corey Stirmer, Lauren Castelli, (Alex) Jake Stirmer, Jasmine Abeles, Danny Wood, Josh Oppenheim, Matthew Oppenheim, Zachary Oppenheim and Ella Abeles; great grandfather of Harper Hartman and Lily Hartman. Burial services at Judean Memorial Garden in Olney, MD will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to: Voices for Autism voicesforautism.org; Crohn's and Colitis Foundation www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/donate; Leukemia & Lymphomia Society www.lls.org/; or a charity of your choice.
