RONALD TYSON BROWN
Ronald of Waldorf, MD, gained his wings on December 23, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Sandra Brown; devoted children, Curtis Brown (Monica) and Suzanne Simmons (Jeffrey); a grandson Shawn Simmons; two siblings, Wayne Brown (Isabelle) and Charlene Brown Ivy (Melvyn); also survived by nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Henry "Sandy" Brown, III and Sherly Ambush. Visitation on Monday, January 4, from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD. Interment, Thursday, January 7 at 9:45 a.m. at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. Service will be live streamed https://youtu.be/5NKRWYXHrEA

Memories are cherished photographs of the heart. Praying the Lord will comfort this family in their loss with His strong,loving arms and surround you with His peace and love during this difficult time. I remember when Ron first walked in Ford's and introduced himself as Ron Brown from Rhode Island! He soon was called "Rhode Island Red" and always captured the attention by all in the community. Loved the conversations about current events, sports and definitely politics. His generous spirit will be missed in this community! May his soul rest in peace!

"Rhode Island Red" as he was well known in our community will be missed by all who had conversations with him. I'll never forget the first day he walked in at Ford's and introduced himself as Ron Brown from Rhode Island! A very kind hearted man! May his soul rest in peace!
