To the daughters of the Lovely Lady, I will truly miss my telephone conversations with your mother. She loved to talk about the four of you. You were her earthly joy as well as her grandchildren and greatgrand. Ruth showed me how to be more compationate, loving and kind. For that was what she was made up of. I will miss her but I know that she is with the Lord.

Deborah, Sharon, Diane and Stephanie, I met you guys when I was about 5 years old and our families were very close, you guys were like sisters to me and your mom was like a second mother to me. I remember about 5 years ago, when my mom had a stroke and your mom found out about it, she was right there at the hospital when I arrived one afternoon, she called and checked on my mother and even offered to help care for her. Ms. Carter was such an elegant lady and good mother and friend to all she encountered. She will be deeply missed and I will keep your family lifted in my prayers.

Love Donna Givens Graham and Family.
