SANDY LLEWELTON WRIGHT, JR.
Sandy Llewelton Wright, Jr was born May 9, 1943 in Connellsville, PA the oldest child of the union of Sandy L. Wright and Ernestine Wright (nee Jones) both deceased. He was also predeceased by his younger brother, Robert Wright. Sandy entered into eternity on January 17, 2022 in Mount Vernon, Washington.Sandy's family moved to the Washington, DC area when he was an infant where he lived and grew up. He attended Phelps Vocational High School and joined the U.S. Navy afterwards. He retired from the Federal government as a Security Guard for the Smithsonian Institution in 2005 after over 30 years of service.In 2017 Sandy retired to Washington state with his wife, Sharon Lynn. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years; four sons, Sandy Allen, Sean Llewelton, Shannon David and Steven Thomas Wright; a stepson, Robert J. Rayford and his sister, Karen Wright. Other loved ones include his sister-in-law, Hallue Wright, three nephews and a host of grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Sandy was a kind and loving person. A gentleman and a gentle man who was loved and will be missed by many. There will be a private memorial service followed by cremation in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Sharon, so sorry to hear that your dear husband, Sandy made his transition. I know this is a very difficult time for you and there are no words that can soothe your grief,but may you find comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Sandy is free, no longer bound by the restraints his condition put him in, thus preventing him from living out his golden years with dignity. He's resting now awaiting that great getting up morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort in memories of Sandy. God bless you and keep you in His care.

I was sad to read in the Post of Sandy's death. I had not known you had moved to Washington State but often thought of you and Sandy.
Know you are in my thoughts and I know it will be sad without him at your side. I share your sadness having lost my husband in 2018. I miss seeing you over the years Phyllis
