THOMAS JOHN MIKULA
On Wednesday, October 9, 2013; Tom Mikula of Bethesda, MD. Husband of Laura Taber Symcak; father of Joanne Elizabeth Mikula; brother of Jean Kutchera and James Mikula. also survived by his parents John Mikula and Joan Mikula. Services will be held at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 3001 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 3 p.m. After the Service, the family will receive friends at Saterlee Hall, St. Albans, from 4:15 p.m. until 6 p.m. Interment private. Memorial donations may be made to Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, 1200 U Street NW, Washington, DC 20009.

Laura, Joanne and the Mikula Family: May God Bless you at this time of loss and sadness! I am a classmate of Tom's at both Notre Dame and GW Law. We were housemates our last year at GW Law. Tom was a great person who was very caring and kind. Of course, he was well known as a brilliant law student and attorney. He was much loved and admired. I feel privileged to have known him. I last saw Tom several years ago when I visited DC for a legal seminar. He took time from his busy schedule to meet with me to talk over old times. I will treasure that memory always. We were also housemates with Rob Mace who we lost in the 9/11 tragedy. May they both rest in the Peace of Christ. Reg Rogers Notre Dame '81, GW Law '84
