Hi, my name is Viola Gates Long, my mother, Martha Arlena Sherill,was William Sherrill sister. I remember the times that we shared with Grandpa Sherrill in Newton, NC. The last time I seen Uncle Bill was at My uncle Guy Roberts funeral in which I met also his wife Marlene. I know that many of his children may not know me as a relative, but I express my deepest sympathy to his wife and children. I reside in High Point, NC and would like to become familiarize more with my family. My prayers are with the family as I recall the wonderful time I had with Marlene and Bill when I visited their home on the lake. He was a wonderful person and his personality filled whatever space he was in with a speacil light.
