Mark Sirianni Obituary

Sirianni, Mark

Mark B. Sirianni, 52, of Weston, entered into heaven on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

He was born on January 30, 1960 in Rice Lake, son of the late Peter and Jane (Bartlett) Sirianni, Sr. He married Barb Schilling on April 16, 1983 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau.

As a man who wholeheartedly loved his family, he was dedicated to providing for his wife and children. Whenever he saw a need, he was the first to respond with matchless generosity. As a follower of Christ, his boldness in faith served as a witness to all those with whom he came in contact. No matter the situation, Mark's family and friends could count on him for a laugh. While he took his responsibilities seriously, he knew how to enjoy life to its fullest. Whether supporting his children through school activities or enjoying every moment with family and friends, his focus was not on himself, but rather what he could do to make sure others knew they were important. He will be missed by every life he touched.

Survivors include his wife, Barb Sirianni, Weston; three children, Ben Sirianni, Madison, Paul Sirianni (Cait Shanahan), of Madison, and Erin Sirianni, at home; his siblings, Steve (Janis) Sirianni, Tom (Lynn) Sirianni, Sue Ball, Mike (Mary) Sirianni, Pat (Ann) Sirianni, and Mary Lang, all of Wausau, Terri Carlson, Schofield, Peter Sirianni Jr., New Lisbon; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Gary) Lepak, Madison, and Ellen Burkhardt, Weston; brother-in-law, Pat (Sue) Schilling, Weston; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant siblings, Peter Paul, and Mary Elizabeth.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Good News Baptist Church, 619 Marsh Dr., Mosinee. Pastor Duane Jass will officiate. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston, and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

September 7, 2012

My name is also Mark Sirianni and I live in Kane, PA. I found the obituary for Mark while on the computer today. As I read through his biography, I found that our lives are quite similar. I was born on Jan 29th, 1959. I am a lifelong catholic and went to catholic school also. I have been married for 27 years to my wife Jan and have 3 kids, Mary, Tom and Peter. My grandfathers name was Peter. I have 3 siblings, Jim, Paula and Nancy Ann. I am also an avid runner. Sounds like your husband. All I can say is I am very sorry for your loss and if his name was Sirianni, he must have been a great guy. Mark Sirianni

Dear Barb and family
It is with the saddest heart that I hear of Mark's passing - I will always have the memory of first meeting your family when Ben began kindergarten at St. Mark's School, and I was struck by what a beautiful and loving family you were. I pray that the love your family shared now surrounds your hearts and gives you strength and comfort. God's loving hands are firmly holding you all, as are the prayers of so many who loved Mark and your family. I pray that God's strenght and mercy give you peace.
With deep sympathy and in faith

I met Mark at the YMCA many years ago. He always spoke highly of his family and friends. His kind smile and friendly "hello" helped us and reminds us of why community is important. Mark will be missed, but take comfort in knowing that he will always remain with us along our journey. May God Bless you and your family.

I didn't know Mark well. We would just say hi in passing. I would see Mark at the YMCA mostly every morning. I just heard of his death. Totally surprised! A man who was committed to physical exercise is not expected at his age to pass on. My prayers go out to his family and all who knew and loved him. He will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Mark. I too am a Christian and believe he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Paul said " I am CONVINCED To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"

To Mark's loving wife and family,

At a time like this,I am at a loss for words
to express my condolence to someone who has lost a loved one.
How to say it to bring comfort?
How to say that I care?
How to say that I understand?

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

I am praying for friends and family to comfort you,
faith to uphold you,
and the loving memories
to help you smile again.

With My Sincerest Sympathy..

Even though it has been years that I last saw Mark. What I remember the most was the way he could bring a smile to ones face ..he was a good man...

Dear Ben, Barb, Paul and Erin,

I am a friend of Ben's from college.

Several of us were so generously welcomed into the Sirianni home to stay for a weekend a few years ago, at which time I had the privilege of getting to know Mark.

As written, he truly “was the first to respond with matchless generosity.” He made certain that each one of us was so wonderfully cared for that weekend. We had a great time, and I will forever remember Mark's voice and laughter.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cherish your memories as they will be what keep you close to him.

Sincerely,

Kirstin
