Ruby Kaetterhenry Obituary
Ruby Marion Lucht Kaetterhenry, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 22, 2017, with her children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren by her side, at Coventry Senior Living, in Mahtomedi, MN. Until age and infirmity dictated moving nearer her children, she lived her entire life in Wausau, WI.
Predeceased by father and mother, Richard and Mary Denham Lucht, brothers Richard and Leonard Lucht, and faithful and loving husband, of 64 years, Melvin. Ruby and Melve were married from July 8th, 1944, until Mel went home to the Lord in 2008. She is survived by sisters Jeanette Richetto and Marilyn (John) Niemeyer of Wausau. Also survived by son Dennis of White Bear Lake, MN, son Keith of Middleton, WI, and daughter Debra (Charles) Palmer of Oakdale, MN; eleven grandchildren, Christine (Joe) Highland, Karin and Kelli Kaetterhenry, Sarah (Kris) Murphy, Brian (Katie) Kaetterhenry, Mark (Grace) Kaetterhenry, Melisa (Joe) Johnston, Emily (Carles Garcia Bercial) Kaetterhnery, Bradley (Lee) Palmer, Corey (Rachel) Palmer, Cassandra (Chad) Cadwell; and blessed with 19 great grandchildren.
Ruby and Melve were life-long members of Bible Truth Chapel. She was a skilled homemaker and all that implied: excellent cook who could bring everything to the table hot, spotless home that underwent formal spring cleanings, loved to sew, canner of preserves, wonderful baker, and specialist in loving and caring for children and serving others, starting at age 15 when her father died. She loved hosting her family and friends at their cabin on Lake Mildred, near Rhinelander, WI.
Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017, at noon, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, followed by services at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas.

Ruby, you were a loving, nurturing soul. I will never forget you! You will always hold a place in my heart! I feel so honored to have taken care of you in your final years. You always brightened my darkest days and I have so many wonderful memories with you to reflect back upon❤ Gone but never forgotten. My prayers go out to your family in this difficult time! I find peace knowing that you are no longer suffering and have found your place in heaven! I can't wait until the day I see you again Ruby.
