Amy M. Drake

1971 - 2014

ANGELICA - Amy M. Drake, 43, of 113 North Street, passed away Friday (Dec. 19, 2014) after a brave and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born in Wellsville, March 18, 1971, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Angelica Central School "Class of 1989".
She was a member of the Angelica Baptist Church, and was previously employed at the former Steuben Educators, Bath National Bank, and the Evening Tribune in Hornell.

Amy's calling in life was to be a wife and mother. She cherished every moment that she had with her husband, children and her entire family. They truly were the center of her life, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Drake, whom she married Sept. 3, 1999; her daughter, Alexis Drake; her son, Spencer Drake; her mother, Betty White Patterson of Angelica; her sister, Tiffany (Mark) Gordon of Belmont; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present from 4-7 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 21, 2014), at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue, Angelica, where Funeral services will be held on Monday (Dec. 22, 2014) at noon, with the Rev. David Ford, and Rev. Marc Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
