Mary Caraway Obituary
Mary Ellen was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Conway, Ark., to Osburn Ward and Lucille (Cargill) Ward.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Randall L. Caraway; two children Randy Caraway, wife LaDonna, and Jennifer Baldock and husband Jimmy Baldock, Jr.; one brother Travis Ward and wife Linda; one sister Sue Plunk; eight grandchildren Michael "Mikey" Deprow, Tallaspoosa, Mo., Randall "Trey" Caraway, wife Rachelle, West Plains, Mo., Amanda Bell, West Plains, Jeremy "Paul" Blagg, Malden, Mo., Matthew Blagg, wife Chelsea, Marshfield, Mo., Mitchell Blagg, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Leonard Stokes, Blytheville, Ark., and Lisa Adams, Kennett, Mo.; and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents; one daughter Sheila Stokes; five brothers Isaac Ward, Carroll Ward, Harold Ward, Bob Ward and Wayne Ward; and one sister Barbara Lou Plunk.
Mary was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was a pastor's wife who loved the Lord. She loved to sew, crochet and quilt, and enjoyed doing different kinds of crafts and many, many sewing stitches. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with Brother Mike Dillinger officiating.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
