Matthew E. Stepp, 19, of Lehighton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 07, 2024, at Cedar Crest Campus of Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Donald E. III and Tara A. (Bond) Stepp, of Lehighton. Matthew attended Lehighton High School Virtual Academy and was currently employed as a talented landscaper at MTS Landscaping in Slatington. Happy and fun-loving, he was always willing to help others and loved his family. Matthew was a car enthusiast who particularly preferred Ford Mustangs. In his free time, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and 3-wheelers.
Survivors: In addition to his loving mother and father, with whom he resided, he is survived by a brother, Donald P. Stepp of Palmerton; two sisters, Aubrey Stepp of Lehighton, and Samantha Stepp and fiancé, Herc Green, of Bowmanstown; maternal grandparents, Kenneth Bond of Northampton, and Tammy (Heckman) Bond of Lehighton; paternal grandmother, Regina (Peters) Stepp of Slatington; aunts, uncles; and cousins.
Matthew was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Donald E. Stepp, Jr.
Services: In keeping with Matthew's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
