Richard Schantz Obituary

Obituary of Richard A. Schantz Richard A. Schantz, 63, of Spring City, PA, passed away at his home on January 20, 2025. Born on October 24, 1961, in Phoenixville, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Leonard M. Schantz and Betty Lou (Hoff). Richard spent most of his life in Spring City and was a proud graduate of Spring-Ford High School, Class of 1981. During his high school years, he was on the track team and soccer team. While he was at Vo-tech School he was taking masonry classes. Richard was a long-time member of the Liberty Fire Company. He was an avid bowler and found joy in bowling. Richard is survived by his sister, Barbara Wentworth (Bruce), and his brothers, Leonard "Lenny" Schantz (Christine), Donald Schantz, and Mark Schantz. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, the late Leonard M. Schantz and Betty Lou (Hoff). A celebration of Richard's life will be announced at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com.
