Lydia: There is not one day that I'm not reminded of the wonderful small memories I shared growing up around the twins and my cousin's, Chris, JD, Anthony and Leslie. I remember the first time I met Jay, Jason and Stephanie, it was when we would visit my aunt Sylvia. We would all get together and play in the yard. I couldn't get this amazing thought out of my head, "How could two boys look alike?" I was only four years old at the time. I grew up thinking they were my cousin's too.
As we moved further away from the family, the boy's website was the only way I could keep up with their joyous life. I had the opportunity to praise the twins for their great talent and they're accomplishments.
I can also remember Melissa's beautiful smile and her cheerful spirit. A few years ago I met her at your house. She also shared with me the dream she had to become a Nurse;I believe it was when she had just begun her studies. Though her life was short, she fulfilled her dream.
They will all be missed but I will continue to keep them in my heart. I'm also praying that through the beautiful memories each one left behind, it will give you and the family strength to carry on. God Bless You and the family, take care of yourself. Love

My son James went to school with Jay and Jason from Pomeroy through Dobson High School. James would mention the "twins" every once in awhile and although I didn't personally know them, I knew of them because of the stories my son would tell me..When James told me about the tragedy I felt a numbness come over me because the greatest fear a parent has is that their children are not always safe. I know the pain to loose a child and I understand the heart break you are all enduring today. May God Bless You and reach out and touch and embrace your hearts bringing you peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have no words that could even compare with the pain you are enduring in this present moment. The healing process will be through your own special ways and we know that takes it's own timing. There is nothing more devastating than the loss of your children. Nothing in life prepares you for the death of a loved one, not alone having left too early. The unanticipated early deaths cut through what we have assumed is a natural order of things only shaking the foundation of our own life. All we believe comes into question, and we feel helpless, angry, and sad; almost as if we had no reason to go on. We find ourselves into a period of sudden confusion, and numbness. It steals from your plans, with your dreams just being shattered. The loss of our children attack our understanding of life's rhythm and purpose, leaving us wondering.
Yes, Gods calling came early for Jay, Jason, and Melissa, but I know that GOD WAS THERE TO EMBRACE THEM. All those that have gone before us were also there to help guide them. You have to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean on him, he will guide your path and give you strength. Ask the Lord to help you accept those things that we can't change. I know it won't be easy because I know what it was to lose my sister. I took one day at a time and that's all you can do. UN DIA LA VES.
IT IS SO TRUE, THEY HAVE BECOME YOUR ANGELS NOW . They only left for a short time, they left before you to get that special place ready for when it's your call. The boys will be there to embrace you too.

Jason...my love....I will never know what words to say to express how much I love you, and how much you will be missed. I was asked how to describe our relationship, and all I could say was that you were my soul mate. Although we strayed at times, we always ended up together in the end. Your smile, your charisma, and the way that you unconditionally loved me will be cherished forever. And my Jay, you were like my second little brother. We fought like it was our only purpose in eachother's lives, and then we loved the next day. Whenever I was in need you were there, and whenever you needed I had open arms. Steve and I will always remember Jay and Jason they were two very special young men. Always willing to help, always fun loving. We would have loved to share more than a few parties and/ days at work with these two. Jay and Jason will be missed.
