Nancy H. Signorelli

1933 - 2018

Nancy Hanna (Looney) Signorelli, of Cohasset, passed away peacefully in her home on October 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy and courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease. Born in Killarney, Ireland on February 5, 1933, Nancy came to the United States at the young age of 16 where her journey took her to Boston and eventually to Cohasset. In 1953 she met the love of her life, William S. Signorelli. The two shared 64 beautiful years of marriage and built a large and loving family to whom she was devoted. She was predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen Gunville and Eileen Looney. Nancy is survived by her husband Bill, her son Bill Jr. and his wife Shelly of Scituate, Mass.; her daughter Margaret and her husband Dr. Barry Tufts of Duxbury, Mass.; her 6 grandchildren Kelly Tufts Byrne and her husband Michael; Barry Tufts Jr and his wife Julie, Ryan Tufts and his wife Erin, Brian Signorelli, Kevin Signorelli and Michael Signorelli; and her 8 great-grandchildren: Haley, Emma, Logan, Chloe, Maddison, Barry III "Rem", Hannah and Riley; as well as her brother Jerry Looney, his wife Frances and their children in Killarney, Ireland. Nancy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Family and friends invited to celebrate Nancy during visiting hours on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2 - 6 p.m. in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. A Mass of Christian burial celebrated on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
