John Dower Obituary

John W. Dower, 93, died peacefully at the Copley Nursing Home in Stoughton Friday, May 14. He was the husband of the late Rita (Flynn) Dower. Born in Norwood, he was a longtime resident of Dedham and Stoughton. Mr. Dower graduated from Dedham High School and was a member of the Dedham Knights of Columbus. In his free time, he enjoyed painting and especially spending time with his family. Mr. Dower is survived by his children, William J. Dower and his wife Carolyn of Florida, Lawrence A. Dower and his wife Sandra of South Windsor, Conn., Mary C. Bernard and her husband David of Stoughton and Theresa Dellelo and her husband Frank of Norwood. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 19. Arrangements were made by Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton.
