I think about Scott often. So sorry he passed. He was a good friend in the Meadville schools.

It is with a bit of a broken heart I write this so late after his passing. Scott and I became good friends at K College. We were both trouble together and I will always remember a certain improv class we took. Good bye to such a creative and fun mind.

To Dr. and Mrs. Ketchum - I am so very, very sorry to hear of the passing of Merrick. He was a dear friend at Allegheny. We lost touch over the years, but I see from other posts, that he never lost his kindness or good humor. I am very sorry for your loss. Peggy King (Allegheny 1977)

doggie, you became such a precious & trusted friend within an hour of the first time we ever chatted, 18 years ago. The world was made better by your being in it. i know your soul is still very much with all of us who loved you--& there are oh so many--but i sure could use one more big, long hug! you impacted every single life you toiched, & always for the far better... i'll always love you, my magical friend!

One of the kindest people I have known, Merrick was a free spirit, and a friend I loved dearly. May your spirit be free now. You will be missed always.

Merrick here is one last belly scratch for you that you loved so much. I already feel your absence at the tables and I think of you often. To your family I offer my prayers for the comfort that only love from above can bring you.

In the Hopi belief, death does not end a person's presence in the physical world, but marks a transition from one state of being to another or, in other words, from one form of experience to another. On the fourth day after death, a person's breath (hikwsi) leaves the body and goes to a place which represents the other realm of existence, not separated from the world of the living, but different in that this realm is unmanifested, unseen, and not accessible to the senses. The Hopi are happy for you and your soul Merrick....We will miss you.
