ANDERS CLEMMONS Billy Carrol Anders Sept. 25, 1946 - Dec. 8, 2011 Mr. Billy Carroll Anders, 65, of Clemmons passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at his home. He was born September 25, 1946 in Forsyth County to Gwyn and Alphagene Murphy Anders. Mr. Anders was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He retired as a manager from Food Fair. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Kathy B. Anders; two daughters, Andrea Rice and husband Bret of Lewisville and April Anders of Clemmons; one son, Billy Gray Slater and wife Tracy of Wilkesboro; five grandchild-ren, Payton and Charlie Rice and Clint, Colby and Ciera Slater. He is also survived by four brothers, Carl Anders and wife Lois of Winston-Salem, Roger Anders and wife Betty of Pfafftown, Donald Anders of Winston-Salem and Danny Anders and wife Desi of Pfafftown and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Will Toburen officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family extends special thanks to the VA Hospital and hospice for their loving care.
