Edward Dennis Rafalko

RAFALKO CLEMMONS - Edward Dennis Rafalko, born on July 31, 1949, in Natrona Heights, Pa., passed away Friday, June 13, 2008. He was formerly of Waterford, Mich. He received his Bachelor' s and Master' s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. He was currently employed by Qualcomm Wireless Solutions in Clemmons. Ed' s hobbies included gardening, cooking, biking, cross-country skiing and stained glass. He was a devoted and caring person and a good supporter to lean on. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Anna Gibbons Rafalko; his daughter, Heather Lindsey Rafalko; his son, Eric Anthony Rafalko; his mother, Helen Mazinski Omans; his father, Edward Francis Rafalko; his sister, Barbara Larsen; his niece, Kecia Wagoner; and his nephew, Andrew Thorton. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. today, June 16, at First Baptist Church of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
