To the family of Gerald, I know the pain and loss you feel all to well. My dad passed away in February of 2016 to ALS. Gerald made regular stops at our business to see if we needed any furniture pieces he had on his truck. When I had not seen him in over a year, I called to make sure he was okay. That was when I learned he had that terrible disease. I honestly just had no words and expressed how sorry I was and I would be praying for him and his family. I have often prayed and just learned of his passing. I´m not sure if you will ever see this, for it has been over seven months since you all lost him. He spoke about his wife and your little dog. He also spoke of all his children and grandchildren. You could tell how much he loved each one of you and how proud he was of his family. He probably made regular stops by to check in with my dad at his business for over 20 years before he passed. I just recently purchased my first living room suit from an actual store. He was always my go to when I needed new furniture. A hard working man, I was always amazed at how he managed to move all that furniture around that truck and even unload it alone. He is surly missed and I will continue to pray for comfort over your family in the years to come. I also pray for a cure for this deadly disease that has taken so many from their loved ones. May God Bless and keep you all.
