James Rex Baldwin

NORTH WILKESBORO - Mr. James Rex Baldwin, 61, of Elkin Hwy. 268, North Wilkesboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Baldwin was born in Wilkes County Jan. 31, 1944, to Rex and Dessie Hall Baldwin. He was a member of Roaring River United Methodist Church. Mr. Baldwin worked for the U.S. Postal Service at the Roaring River Post Office. Mr. Baldwin is survived by two sisters, Mary Helen Robbins of Roaring River and Louise B. Bryant and her husband, Bill, of North Wilkesboro; a niece, Teresa Cochrane; a nephew, Joey Robbins and his wife, Deborah; five great-nieces, Amy Mabrey and her husband, Wayne, Stefanie Cochrane, Shauna Cochrane, Sarah Robbins and Hannah Robbins; and a great-great-nephew, Carter Mabrey. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, Dec. 7, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Roaring River Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Wood, the Rev. Terry Morris and the Rev. Rex Foster officiating.
