Kathleen "Kitty" Johnson Werner, age 86, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Kettering Medical Center.
She was born July 31, 1936 in London, Ky., daughter of the late Walter C. and Lola (White) Johnson.
Kitty retired as a Teacher for Clinton-Massie Schools and was a member of Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, Daughters of the American Revolution, Yani Club, The English Club, Harveysburg Book Club, Clintonaires, Miami Chapter 107 Order of the Eastern Star-Waynesville, Ohio Retired Teachers Association, and was an Outstanding Woman of Clinton County.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan K. (Raymond D.) Werner Huck of Kettering, Ohio; and granddaughter, Kathleen Elizabeth Huck, Kettering.
In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Burton August Werner.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with Pastor James Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 1 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, with the Order of the Eastern Star Service being held.
