David Lee Pullens

DAVID LEE (CROCKY) PULLENS, 70, of Giles passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after battling a short illness.
He was born on December 22, 1954, in Charleston, WV to the late David and Patsy Pullens. He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father-in-law Ray and Honey Taylor, sister Rita (Filmore) Browning, and sister-in-law Jennifer Pullens. David was married to the love of his life Jennifer (Hunn) for 53 wonderful years. He worked at Carbon Fuel and Cedar Coal before going into business with his brother Melvin (Pullens Bros Timber), he then later owned and operated Montgomery Coin Laundry.
David is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, his baby girl Amanda (Jammie), sons Sam (Stacy), Joe (Rhoda), and Josh. His grandchildren; Chris (Miranda), Taylor (Tyler), Hunter (Mindy), River (Morgan), Trent (Aly), Sammy (Taylor), and Jammie (Morgan). Great grandchildren; Kynsleigh, Caden, Natalee, Ellie, Cameron, Hadlee, Gannon, Braxton, Karsyn, Tucker, Ava, Nelly, and a great grandson expected in January. Siblings; Melvin (Jean), Debbie (Bill), Jeannie (Pete), Rick (Janet), and Paul; special nephew David Browning (Nedra); brother-in-law Ernie (Pam), sisters-in-law Pam, Diana (Steve), and Lisa (Larry), special friend Johnny Graves and countless family and friends that all loved and adored him.
David was happiest at home surrounded by his loving family. He loved cooking his TikTok recipes for everyone to try and walking his dogs daily with his brother Paul. Crock always had a story to tell and was loved by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m., at Sharon Church of God, 2122 Cabin Creek Road, Dry Branch, WV. Services will be conducted by Robin Stewart. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
