Michael Fuller Obituary

LEOLA Dr. Michael L. Fuller, 58, went Home to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in West Earl Township as a result of a cycling accident. He was married to Dr. Irene B. (Bray) Fuller for almost 24 years Born February 10, 1952, in Rock Island, Ill., he was the son of Virginia M. (Viviani) Fuller and the late John W. Fuller. A loving husband and devoted father, Dr. Michael and his wife, Dr. Irene, have been chiropractors in Lancaster County for over 24 years, and in that time he established ChiroPlus in Leola and helped establish other chiropractic offices in the area. A graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Dr. Fuller was also a graduate of Millersville University and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. His greatest joy was attending his three sons' sporting events, especially basketball and volleyball games. Besides his family and practice, Dr. Michael's other passions were family vacations at the beach and designing and building wood stools and chairs. Michael was a Christian and knew the Lord. He studied the Bible and had a quiet and abiding faith. In addition to his wife, Dr. Fuller will be lovingly missed by three sons, Ben, Joe, and Jake Fuller, and his mother, "Ginny", all of Leola; a sister, Sharon (Jim) Murphy of Ephrata; a brother, Dr. Joe Fuller (Delana) of Red Lion; as well as four nieces; a nephew; and his extended family and caring friends. A celebration of Dr. Fuller's life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Leola United Methodist Church, 7 W. Main St., Leola. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday between 10 and 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. A fund has been established at Fulton Bank for his sons' education. Contributions can be made payable to the Fuller Education Fund. The Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Millersville, 717-8722266, is honored to serve the Fuller family. I worked with Ginny at Dart Container in Leola from 1979-1981, I was 17; we became friends while working the midnight until 8:00am shift.
We were both Christians, and we both believed Jesus would return in our lifetime. I am happy for Ginny, she has gotten to meet our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I´m still waiting for that meeting in the sky with him.
I remember Ginny mentioning her son Michael, the chiropractor, and then I saw his obituary and thought her heart must´ve been broken to have lost him.
Today, I am 62 and back in my home state of Nebraska. I don´t know why today, December 20, 2023, the Lord brought her name to my mind, but I´m glad he did. She made a good impact on my life. See you in heaven Ginny!
