Dora Marquez Obituary
Dora is survived by her husband, Albert Marquez of Chandler, Arizona; daughters, Letizia (Vernon) Townsend of Chandler, Clarissa (John) Allen of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandsons, Matthew Townsend of Chandler and Andrew Allen of Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Helen DeLosReyes, Martha Arvizu; brothers, Frank Arvizu and Gilbert Arvizu all of Yuma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Arvizu and mother, Josefa Arvizu.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007 Johnson Mortuary with the rosary to follow at 7 p.m. Mass to be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 14, 2007 at St. Francis Church. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gerald Casares, Jesse Casares, Bob Moreno, Jason Magdeleno, Steve Arvizu and Gabriel Ybarra. Honorary pallbearers will be Ike Hernandez, Tony Peralta, Steve Rico, Matthew Townsend and Bobby Arvizu. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Association Desert Southwest Chapter, 1028 E. McDowell Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85006 or Hopsice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656.

I knew Dora as a sweet wonderful caring person who treated me with kindness and love and she is in heaven with her mom(Josefa) and her dad.Her daughters are as good as she is and also Dora's husband. Godspeed

i met Dora in 1976 when i went and worked for SER Yuma Jobs for Progress. She had a beautiful personality and she left an impression in my heart. I know God will hold her in his arms and let her know how much she is loved and will be missed. My prayers are with You All as you carry on her legecy
