Pedro (Pete) Arreola joined our Lord on February 25, 2023. He was born on July 28, 1938 in Yuma, AZ. He was 84 years old.
He graduated from Yuma Union High School in 1957. In February of 1965, he joined the City of Yuma Fire Department and on October 25, 1992, after 27 1/2 years of service he retired as a Captain. After retirement he worked for a few years installing skirting, decks and awnings on trailers. He liked working on his cars, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren in the Midwest and summers in Williams, AZ.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 398 and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sylvia; his daughter, Deborah (Brian Vance) Arreola of Yuma; son Richard (Diane) Arreola of Gilbert, AZ.; grandchildren, David (Martha) Arreola of Granite City, Illinois, Nicolas (Kassandra Martinez) Arreola of Chandler, AZ, Kelly (Chris Drake) Glosser of Champaign, Illinois, Stephanie (Joshua ) Brandmeier of Hartford, Wisconsin, and great grandchildren, Haylie Jo Aguirre, Aiden and Silas Arreola, Julien Brandmeier, and Kailah and Kamara Drake .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Estefana Arreola, daughter Lorraine Arreola, son John Arreola and sister Mary Rivera..
Pete will always be remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 15th 2023 with viewing at Johnson Mortuary at 9:00 am. Rosary will be at 10:30 am followed by mass starting at 11:00 am at St Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Pete was a awesome man I will miss him very much I got to know Pete as a customer and as a friend I waited on Pete and Sylvia at least once a week for 34 years...so yes I will miss you old man.
