Donald Lynch Obituary

ZANESVILLE: Donald Eugene Lynch, 76, of Zanesville, passed
away on Wednesday August 19, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Don was born in Columbus, OH on October 6, 1933 to the late Alonzo Lynch and Gladys Detamore Lynch Weaver.
Don worked hard to provide for his family. He was employed by David Davies Meat Packing Plant, GE, Ford, and found his career with Conn's Potato Chips where he was lovingly known as "Don the Conn Man".
Don enjoyed bowling, going to the horse races, traveling, and playing cards. His greatest joy was his family. Don served a Special Minister for St. Thomas Aquinas church. He enjoyed serving communion and Gods teachings of love and forgiveness.
Don is survived by two sons, Lance (Allison) Lynch of Nashport and Lawrence (Shelley) Lynch of Hopewell; four daughters, Linda (Jeff) Fitzpatrick of Zanesville, Lace (Douglas Greiner) Lynch of Zanesville, Lorraine Julian of Nashport, and Leslie (Tom) Colopy of Nashport; a sister, Patricia (James) Roberts of Nashport; a great aunt, Peg Detamore of Pinellas Park, Fl; a special friend, Ruth Ann Smith of Frazysburg; and ten grandchildren, Lauren, Lexanne, and Larissa Lynch, Larry (Jen) and Dylan Fitzpatrick, Braden Greiner, Dawn Julian, Erin, Adam, and Kurt Colopy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Barrett Lynch; and a son-in-law, Rob Julian.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, August 22 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 144 North 5th Street Zanesville with Father Jordan Turano O.P. officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
