Anna Morgan Tarbox, 78, of Waterville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 29, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1930, in Waterville, the daughter of the late Winfred and Anna Whalen Morgan and was a graduate of Waterville Central School. In 1969, in Oriskany Falls, she married Reginald D. Tarbox. He passed away in 1977. For 28 years, Mrs. Tarbox was employed with the Waterville Knitting Mill. She was a member of St. Bernard's Church. Anna was a very loving and devoted sister. She was a hard worker, loved children and looked out for everyone's needs, but her own. She is survived by a brother, Raymond Morgan, of Brookfield; a sister, Margaret Morgan, of Waterville; a niece and her husband, Bonnie and Mark Button, of Hubbardsville; a great-niece, Briana Button, of New York Mills; and a great-nephew, Brice Button, of Hubbardsville. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and John Morgan; a nephew, Barry Morgan; and a niece, Betty Anne Morgan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, with Rev. Thomas Servatius officiating. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. In memory of Anna, kindly consider the Waterville Fire Department or the Waterville Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
