May 8, 1942 - July 7, 2025

Fresno, California - Frances L. Colmenero, 83 passed away peacefully in her home in Fresno, California, on July 7th, 2025,.

Born May 8th, 1942. Frances resided in Fresno most of her life, but did live in Santa Clara for a short time before returning to Fresno.

Frances attended and graduated from Edison High School and then started her journey to see all that life had to offer. After meeting and marrying the love of her life Phillip R. El Sombrero Restaurant and Wimpy's Burgers in the Tower District. Frances also worked as a waitress at Fresno International Airport coffee shop and Coco's restaurant in Santa Clara. Wherever she was, she would welcome you with a kind smile and caring conversation.

Frances has always been known for her sweet, kind, and giving nature. She always took special joy in surprising family and friends with thoughtful gifts, and finding special ways to brighten the lives of those around her. Strength and Perseverance were hallmarks of her character, qualities that guided her through life's challenges and triumphs alike.

Frances is lovingly remembered by her Daughter Stephanie, Son Phillip, and Grandson Collin Colmenero; Brothers Maurice, James and John Carillo, Jesse and Kevin Pame; Sisters Arlene Galela and Jerilyn Rahn; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Frances now joins in rest, her Husband Phillip R. Colmenero; Mother Ethel Pame; Brother Richard and his Wife Nona Oliva; Sister Marion Fouts.

Frances's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she also be remembered for the Love that she gave so freely, and the strength with which she lived.
