Phil and I worked closely together in Houston to treat mutual dental patients. A good friend and a highly skilled and knowledgeable dentist with a very friendly personality. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I really enjoyed Phil´s humor and he did a great job putting veneers on my front teeth in the early 90´s which made a huge difference in my appearance and self esteem. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Nauert, alias Dr. Shot, was my dentist the entire 10-12 years I was in Houston. He was a really great gentle dentist. I loved talking to him about restoring the Packard automobile he was working on. We had good discussions on Packard history in automobiles as well as in PT boats in WWII. What a great guy. So sorry that he is gone too dang soon! Prayers to the family. Thank you for taking care of my mouth like no one has before or since!

Sailing, camping and non stop studying. We watched each other's families grow and our practices develop. So many memories. So sad to see him go.

Dr. Nauert was a fine man who died too soon. I was a patient who hated shots. He always assured me he had the fastest thumbs in the business -- jiggled my cheek and distracted me from the sting. He was looking forward to his retirement. I'm so sorry for his loss to his wife and family.

Dr. Nauert was one of those people who radiated compassion and curiosity. I only knew him in what were to be his final years, through serving on a committee together and at the occasional event. Every time, I looked forward to seeing him and hearing his unique perspective. I can say with confidence, he left his community better than he is found it. He will be missed.
