Peg, I just today learned of Dave's passing. Alice and I are sooooo sad to hear this. I knew Dave for our years at K-State and besides the dorm and sharing a house with him, got to watch him perform on the field during football games (not a very good team then). Our prayers go out to you during this time.

Dear Peggy and family, we just read the beautiful accounting of a life so well-lived, as we recalled the many wonderful memories of Dave and the fun we enjoyed with you two in our early years. We are so very sorry for your loss! Please know that you have been in our prayers this week, and those prayers will continue as you navigate the days ahead as you cherish your lifelong memories of Dave. He was a true gem of a guy and will be deeply missed this side of Heaven, but oh how sweet the reunion will be someday! Love you!

Dave was an extraordinarily kind and giving person. He was an exemplary Christian, always humble and easygoing in the loads of volunteer work he took on and in his relationships with everyone. Our deep condolences to Peg, Kim, Jen, and family.
