Thinking of the lovely lady Pamela 3 years later, thank you for posting the beautiful photos of her! How unselfish of you to share her with a group of people who can only mourn and pray for you as the stranger's that we are! I noticed one thing while admiring the pictures, there was not one without her incredible smile! Wow, what a smile she had.
May God Bless You all as you continue this journey, sometimes I am sure, an incredibley painful one without your beloved Pamela. She will remain in my prayers and thoughts as long as I shall breathe.

Much Love from another who lost her Mom too young...

I am not quite sure why the last name Vitale popped into my head a couple weeks ago, but I was unable to shake it. I did a simple search on line and came across your website. I was not aware of your loss at the time it happened, but found your wife/mother has the same birthdate as a friend of mine that was killed when we were high school classmates.
My prayers are with you all. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your beautiful wife/mother.

Dan, Mario & Marissa.....For some reason I thought of Pamela tonight, and decided to look @ her photo album online. I also wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I did know Pamela when we worked @ Pacific Telesis Video Services in San Ramon. I can still hear her sweet voice. What a sweet, sweet lady she was. Her beautiful smile brightened the room. I pray that the Lord will bless you with Pamela's memories.
God Bless!

Shocked! So sorry for your loss. Lucinda Olivas-White just mentioned this tragedy to me during a phone conversation. We knew Pam from Hewlett-Packard days 1979-1983 and we were both friends with her. Pam was always full of life and a pleasure to be around. She will be missed.

To the Family of the lovely Pamela,

I have been following the news about your beautiful Pamela and wanted to express my deepest sympathies to all of you. In hearing how you talk about her, I think that Pamela would be proud of how all of you are acting with poise and class. She lives in your hearts forever and the love that she shared with you remains on your faces and in your voices each and every time that you speak of her. God bless you all.

Mario and Marisa, When I looked at your family photo's I wept uncontrollably. I too lost my mother, not to someone's hand, but to sudden illness. My mother was the same age, and also a single mother who found happiness tword the end of her life. I feel robbed of our future together. I see people with their elderly mother and know I will never have that. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Go with God. I know your mother will always be with you, she will give you strength when you need it the most.

To Daniel, Mario and Marisa,

You have my deepest sympathy. The loss of a loved one is the hardest thing to go through. I have lost my father, daughter, step-son and nephew and the only thing I can tell you is that God and time helps to heal the loss. Think of all the good times that you've had with her. She will always be with you in spirit and in your heart. As long as you keep her memories alive she will always be with you. May God bless.

Dear Marisa,

James here, your friend from UCSC and India EAP. I remember spending time with you and your mother at the airport terminal as we waited to board the plan. She was telling us about the days when she was a flight attendant. She struck me as such a loving mother who had come to see her beloved daughter off on an important journey. My heart broke when I heard the news. Myself and everyone from the eap program are thinking of you.

Dear Daniel, Marisa, Mario and mother of Pamela,

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Pamela found me and enriched my life in a special way. Knowing that we might be related in some way was and still is very special to me. I miss Pamela but I know that she is here, in spirit, in you, Marisa and Mario, in you, Daniel and all those whose hearts she touched, like mine.

May you find the courage to face tomorrow in the love that surrounds

you today.

Dear Daniel, Mario and Marisa

I hadn't realized that this guest book existed until tonight. Please know that Pam remains very much in my heart as well as the hearts of others who loved her. After a brief empty stretch, I find myself having the same mental conversations I used to have when we would both "collect" stories about our families to share with each other during our next phone call. Pamela's spirit is still very much a part of my life. You are all a part of my daily prayers.

Love,

Kathi

Mr. Horowitz, I only came to know you through your frequent legal analyses and commentaries over the last few years. Even though I didn't always agree with your point of view, I always felt that, as a whole, you were a gentle, kind and caring man. I can imagine that was the kind of relationship that you and your wife shared. I'm truly sorry that you have suffered this tragic loss. I hope it gives you and your wife's family comfort knowing that so many care.

Dear Dan & family,

I am praying that you'll find comfort in the days ahead. I am so saddened by your loss of Pam and I pray that God will give you the strength to cope during this terrible time. I'd like to post a poem in Pam's memory:

God looked around his garden,

And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth,

And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you,

And lifted you to rest;

God's garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,

He knew you were in pain;

He knew that you would never

Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough

And hills were hard to climb

So he closed your weary eyelids,

And whispered, "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you didn't go alone,

For a part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

Words are a sorry substitute for the sadness and sympathy I feel for you Daniel, and of course the rest of the family. Your championship of the underdogs and testing the system led me to respect you. Your public showing of the deep deep love you and Pamela had gave the world comfort that relationships that strong, that wonderful and that sharing exist. My deepest condolences, and prayers that you can work this horror and tragedy, to be left with the wonderful memories, while the pain eases to the dull ache that time allows.

Pamela will be with you forever. Her love is a legacy she leaves you more precious than many.

Please..look after yourself, and know that the world is pulling for you, praying for you and saddened for you. Daniel Horowitz..your wonderful relationship are an inspiration, and what so many strive for and dont find.

Mario and Marisa--This is Neil's daughter. It's been so long since I've seen you or your mom, but I could never forget what an extraordinary person she was. I send you my deepest sympathy on the unfathomable loss of your mom. To endure your worst nightmare in the public eye must be so terribly hard. I wish that with all this coverage, more would be said about what a truly unique and special person she was. I loved her dearly. She was an inspiration as a mother and a delight as a friend. I've never known anyone else who managed to be both elegant and goofy. I admired her so much. I loved her optimism, her compassion, her intelligence, her thoughtfulness, her graciousness her work ethic AND her sense of fun. She was so full of life.

Daniel, the last time I talked to Pam she called to tell me you two were getting married. She sounded so happy. I am comforted by the knowledge that she found the love and happiness in her life she so richly deserved.

I hope it may be some comfort to remember that although her life was far too short, she lived it well and touched everyone who knew her. My heart goes out to all of you.

I, too, knew Pam in high school in Minnesota. She was a star then and a light has gone out with her loss. My sincerest sympathies.

Dan, good Shabbats, and Godspeed! My heart is hurting for you knowing the pain you are feeling. Pamela will be watching over you because a lady such as this, has many Mitzvahs stored away. I hope and pray that your pain will subside and that you will be able to be somehow, "heightened" by this tragedy.

Shalom, my friend,

Jerry and Laurie (Cooper) Freeman
