Larry you were without doubt the Voice of the Cowboys during my time at UW in the late 60s. Always enjoyed your articles in the newspapers and listening to your play calls in the booth. You were missed after retiring and will be remembered by all Cowboys forever.

truly saddened by the passing of a legend of Wyoming football and basketball broadcasts. I had the great opportunity of meeting Larry after he broadcast a Wyoming-Utah basketball game. I was so fortunate to get his autograph on a Wyoming basketball media guide, that is one autograph I will always treasure. may god bless your family at this time of sadness. Now Larry is doing play by play for the heavenly angels. Rest in Peace Larry and thank you for the great broadcasts you did for the cowboys.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great broadcaster and true Wyoming Cowboy. As a former Wyoming athlete, I sincerely appreciated his enthusiastic and supportive play by play. He was a positive influence in the lives of many of us.

Oh Biffer,
How can you leave us now in our dark times. But hey, we've been through it before, haven't we? They are still "our" cowboys and cowgirls.
..Good man gone. There were many, many hours listening to your voice and words of wisdom.
To the family, our deepest condolences.
