Nancy Dolman Obituary
Short's manager, Marc Gurvitz, said Monday that Short's wife of 30 years had died but provided no cause of death or any additional details. Short, best known for his comedic roles on "Saturday Night Live" and in the "Father of the Bride" franchise, married Dolman in 1980 after the pair met while working together in a production of "Godspell."
They have three children: Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24, and Henry, 20.

I am saddened and devastated to hear about the loss of Nancy, a loving and devoted wife and mother who decided to give up acting to become a good family woamn. I've seen pics of her - she was very pretty and seemed to be enjoying herself around various other celebrity pals of yours such as Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton, Bette Midler, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Sally Field and much more. Your "Amigoette" friends won't be the same without Nancy. They miss her and so do all of us. Nancy added humor and exuberance to the comedy and show biz world. Martin, you are up their as one of my favorite show biz figures. I feel for you, as I would for all my favorite show biz figures. She will forever be in our hearts.

I was so sad to hear of your loss. Back in 1995, I was a very ackward teenage girl from Nashville and spent a week in LA with my aunt and your family was so sweet to me. My Aunt G and Nancy took me to my first Starbucks and I remember her telling me about how they would ride a bike for miles uphill for the fun of it and I thought that was amazing. "Do you want to come with us?", she said with a laugh. Our families spent an afternoon on the beach playing volleyball and eating fried chicken. I will always have fond memories of her and you are in my thoughts. Blessings to all your family and friends who share in this loss.
