Psalm 90:10 states, "In themselves the days of our years are seventy years, And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years..." Ms. Yeats lived to be a few months shy of 100, which only a few ever achieve. Although she lived a long life this does not relieve the pain that is felt by her loved ones. May our Heavenly Father give these ones strength and comfort through the Scriptures. Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of your loss.

I just recently found out that Baby Marie Osborne was the foster daughter of my grandfathers brother Leon Osborne. Leo Osborne was married to my Grandmother Thelma Osborne McCaig. I have pictures of Baby Marie as a young girl that I found in a picture book that my brother had. My name is Vivian Osborne Abernathy and I live in Los Angeles. Sorry, I did not get to meet her. I love reading about her life. May she rest in peace now.

To the Yeats Family and Friends,
To lose a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself...but the love Marie brought you all did not leave ...the essence of her lingers...it can't escape your heart for it's been there so long.
Cling to the many wonderful memories she must have made over the years, no matter how long or short you were blessed to have such a precious gift in your life.
Know that God has keep her in his loving memory and promises to bring back the righteous to leave forever on a paradise earth.Psalms 37:29.
P.S.-She was a beautiful little girl, and turned out be a stunning woman.

My condolences to the family. What shows that a person value this gift of life? by the legacy they leave behind. King Solomon says it all: A name is better than good oil and the day of death than the day of one's being born.
May the God of all comfort be with the family during this difficult time.

Mrs Yeats had a long life and was well known as Little Mary Sunshine. I truly hope the sunshine of her life was Jesus Christ for if that is the case then she is now in heaven where Christ is the light for there is no need of a sun or a moon. I am sure her radiant smile would be most welcome there. May her family be blessed with showers of love from their many friends and may they all claim Christ as their Savior. Words Hardee.

What a beautiful woman Marie turned out to be. She touched the lives of many with her gift of acting. I am sure she will be missed by all. What a wonderful book her life story would be. May God richly Bless the family and comfort them at this time.

What poise, discipline, and talent it must have taken for child actors of the silent film era to convey their characters' emotions only through facial expressions and physical gestures without benefit of the sound of their voices! Although she lived to the age of 99, Marie Osborne Yeats will forever be "Baby Marie" to all of her fans. My condolences to her family and friends.

Her youthful look will be restored when Marie will return the days of her youth as promised at Job 33:25. She certainly has longevity in her family tree for 99 and only a year short of a centenarian. A time will come when age is infinite as the scripture at Psalm 37:29 will finally come to fruition and the righteous themselves will inherit the land forever!
November 20, 2010
To the family I am so very sorry about the loss of your dear loved one. May the thought at Job 33:25 give you comfort in knowing that Mrs Yeats will return to the days of her youth and be able to enjoy life without the infirmities of old age. My sincere condolences.

What a wonderful world Marie lived in, from the silent picture days to downloading digitally generated movie epics from thin air! One loses perspective of the most rapid evolution of technology and progress in the history of mankind until it is measured in one lifetime. Gods blessings gave Marie 99 years of life on the planet, and for 99 years He gave us Marie.

Death is too much! It is sad to see such young vibrant pictures of Marie-then know the toll life takes on us all. May the God of comfort be a source of strength for all those takeing refuge in him (2cor.1:3,4).

To the family,
We are sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the comforting words from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and the fond memories of your loved one continue to provide comfort to you.
May you also find a measure of comfort and peace in God's promises found in the last book of the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." 2 Peter 3:13; 1 Cor. 15:24-26

My deeply sorry is to hear about "Baby Marie's" death recently. I love old movies of TCM on TV with closed caption because I am profoundly deaf. I never had seen one of her movies. I hope the TCM of TV will appear one of her movies soon. She had been blessed for her good long life in many, many years so that she almost was a century. My verily hope is Marie went to be with God in heaven eternally through her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer.

My smypathy to Marie's family on the loss of this lovely lady. She enchanted people in a time of simpler pleasures and simpler times and we are so lucky to have her work on film so that we and generations to come can visit a time in the history of films that sadly will never come again.

So sorry to hear of Marie's passing. I know that I played with the Baby Marie paper dolls when I was a child. I'd never forget her face or the dolls. I was upset when I left them in a desk drawer during a train trip to Canada. My mother gave them to me. Her name is Marie, too.

I am sorry for your great loss. The pain of losing a loved one is indescribable. God is love. He desires for all humans to live forever. He promises in his word there will be a time not far off when we will live in paradise with no more death, pain, or suffering. What God promises he will fulfill.

As a teen we had a pizza parlor that showed silent movies, and a fabulous pianist from our church worked there playing for the movies, writing "material" as she played and I remember Baby Marie films bringing out all the best in her when she appeared on that screen. It is such a shame that all the talent of that day may never be remembered in the true way they should be. Those of us who remember are grateful for the joy they brought to the screen as the true stars they were. May God grant her family comfort in this time of loss.

My sincere sympathy to your family. It must be a proud feeling to know she was one of the lady/child pioneers of her time. We take things for granted today - but it wasn't that long ago, things were so much different. God bless.
