Angela Yeats Obituary
May 17, 1937 - May 23, 2025
Angela Mary (Hayes) Yeats passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was 88 years old.
Born in Exeter, Devon, England, Angela was the daughter of William and Marcella Brisland and sister to the late Derek and Rex Brisland.
In 1960, she married David J. Hayes, beginning a rich life together that took them from Salisbury and Southampton in England to Albany, Oregon, USA, in 1968. There, they raised five children: Mark, John, Joanne, Katie, and Robert.
After David's passing in 1987, she met Bob Yeats, a geologist at Oregon State University. They married in 1993.
Angela embraced Bob's family as her own. Together, they shared a vibrant blended family of ten children, 22 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Angela is survived by her children:
Mark (Mary) and their daughter Kelsey.
Joanne (Johnny Smith) and their children Rachel and David.
John (Kathleen) and their children, Cassie, Nicole, and Ceil.
Katy (Mark) and her daughter Dru.
Robert (Missy) and their daughters, Savannah, Sidney, and Spencer.
Angela is also lovingly remembered by Bob's children and their families:
Bobby (Gail) and their children Ryan, Sean, Emily, and Caitie.
David (Meg) and their daughters Jessica, Maile, and Hannah.
Steve Yeats.
Ken (Carolyn) and their children Emma and Ian.
Sally (Chris Hale) and their sons Jackson, Jalen, and Kellen.
Angela leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

Service will be at the First United Methodist Church in Corvallis on June 28th at 11:00 a.m.

My dear Angela. I´ll miss our special times sitting next to each other at the OSU ladies basketball games cheering them on. It won´t be the same without you. Rest in peace, my friend.
