Eliseo Alberto Obituary
Alberto, author of the melancholic novel "Caracol Beach," worked many years as a journalist in his native Cuba before he became an exile in Mexico in 1990. He received Mexican citizenship in 2000.
Affectionately known as "Lichi," Albert said his books explored Christian themes such as regret, forgiveness and punishment. He also wrote poetry, TV and movie scripts, and taught at film schools in Cuba, Mexico and the United States.
In 1998, Alberto received the Premio Alfaguara de Novela, an international Spanish-language literary award.
Alberto was born Sept. 10, 1951 in Arroyo Naranjo, Cuba.

Please accept my sincere condolences and sincere prayers that go out to the surviving family and friends. May the God of comfort continue to bless you and yours especially after such an untimely loss of a very precious life please accept my deepest sympathies. (2 Cor. 1:2, 3).

A gracious and respectable person whose work has done so much to bring so much joy to many of us in these troubled times hard to deal with (2 Tim 3:1). Perhaps more will continue to have positive experiences from a wonderful work that has had an impactful contribution to life and its anxieties.
