I hope that the family finds comfort from Psalms 147:3 which says:

God Bless you, Glen! And I pray that your family finds peace in the sharing of the memories of you. The problem with the passing of folks like Glen is that there can NEVER be another like him, in his music, as well as in his 'being.' As we lose these great and special musicians, none are coming to replace them. There are younger, (talented, of course) players coming up, but they are not, and can never be of the same set of values and contributions made by Glen and those like him. I will miss your music, Glen. At least for now! See you on the other side!
Fat Fred, the bassist!

It's sad to know that Glen's death brings and end to an era in traditional music. I had the pleasure of seeing the Hackberry Ramblers numerous times over the years and hearing the group in action always brought a smile to my face. As a cousin of Luderin Darbone I know how much he depended on Glen in the latter years of his life. May the core group Rest in Peace and thanks to Ben for keeping the group in action. Laissez les bons temps rouler boys.
