Lane Goodwin Obituary
Lane, who died Wednesday night, was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. The "Thumbs-up for Lane" campaign began as a way to encourage Lane and his family. Lane had followers around the world, including many celebrities, and his Facebook page has received nearly 400,000 likes.
According to a post on the Facebook page, funeral services will be Monday and will be streamed live on the Internet.

When i came home on the 17th and opened my computer to see whats up with Lane today, to my surprise you left us and went home. All i could do was cry because my son died on the 17th as well 17 months prior to you. I just asked him to show you the way and watch over your family. This sweet boy has forever changed my life. I wish I would have got to meet him in person. I have never cried so hard than I did when Lane passed away.
