Tawauna Robinson Obituary
She is survived by son Lamar Robinson of Moore and daughter Angeletta Santiago of St. Louis. Santiago had planned to move to Oklahoma City on Tuesday to be near her mother.
Friends have started a GoFundMe page to help the family with costs associated with the tornado.

Robinson's daughter , Angeletta Santiago, was planning on moving from St. Louis to the Oklahoma City area to be closer to her mom because she was suffering several health issues.
She planned to leave Tuesday morning.
A day earlier, Robinson called her daughter to tell her that the tornado had touched down and she was going to take cover in her closet. It was around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
The brief conversation ended when Robinson told her daughter, "I love you," and then hung up, news station KSDK of St. Louis reported.
After the storm hit, Santiago frantically tried to get information about her mother, taking to Facebook to see if she could find any piece of helpful information.
Robinson's house was destroyed. It was located near the Plaza Towers Elementary School, which also was ravaged by the storm.

After reading the comments on here, I can't help but think that soon beautiful memories will exceed the sadness you are feeling at this time. Hey girl I really don't know what to say because from the time I found out I have been at a lost for words but I do have plenty memories of us in high school you was always at my house making us laugh and saying what was on your mind and you never let anyone talk bad about me if you were around. I finally found her name and this website. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am confident by the great big smile on her face and all the beautiful comments about her that she was an inspiration and stable to all around her. WOW!!!! I can't believe that im actually writing a remembrance for you Niecey...this is so unreal. Thesev last couple days I have sat back and reflected on all the the great times that we shared...the laughs, cries, dancing in the living room...helping you pick out your clothes to go out and party...we had some great times together...you were my sister-in-law as well as my friend. Reading all these posts just validates what a wonderful person you were...you touched many lives...never met a stranger...everyone felt at home in your presence..you will greatly be missed and will always be remembered...i miss you sis...until we meet again. .
