Dickie Moore Obituary
Helaine Feldman, a senior staff member at Dick Moore & Associates Inc., confirmed that Moore died Monday in Connecticut.
While not as famous as Temple or Mickey Rooney, Moore was a veteran of dozens of films, many of them top-drawer productions directed by such greats as Cecil B. DeMille ("The Squaw Man"), Ernst Lubitsch ("Heaven Can Wait") and Josef von Sternberg ("Blonde Venus").

Mr. Moore did a wonderful job with his role in Sergeant York. He really brought an interesting dimension to the film.
From what I read about his life in the film business, he seem to have a lot of remarkable experiences.

Although I didn't know Dickie Moore personally, I would like to express my condolences to Joan & family. Joan & I went to high school together in Montreal. Both my husband Bill & I are avid hockey fans. You probably won't remember me but I still wanted you to accept my sympathies. I am very sorry for you & your family.

I was an avid fan of Adam 12 back in the 60's and was surprised to hear of Martin's passing. It is with deepest sympathy on your loss and may it be comforting to know that Martin will return to the days of his youthful vigor as promised at Job 33:25.

A genuine class act. When I was a kid watching him on the Little Rascals, he seemed like a more genuine person than a performer. He had a very strong screen presence that few child actors today can even come close to duplicating. Watching him later on TV interviews, the same genuine person came though. Definitely one of the good guys from Hollywood's golden era. Every so often someone comes along who gives you your faith back in humanity. Mr. Moore was one such person. R.I.P. Mr. Moore. God speed.

I loved you in Free Wheeling in the Our Gang series. I watched it with my son who is now 26 and he became a fan that day. We have a little rascal, our gang and George Reeves' Superman day when it's raining. We like to walk down memory lane when he was a child. Thank you for all your contributions to the arts. Check Dickie out in The Member Of The Wedding when as a drunken soldier, he made the moves on Julie Harris. A brief scene but i believe his most effective moment as an actor. read his auto-biography a couple years ago; a good man - a likable man. a friend to Matthew Beard (Stymie) years later when Matt could use a friend from the old days again. prayers to extended family.
