On behalf of all the Building Gangs who work in London Monday to Friday, then went home and then returned to London on Sunday night, meaning The Scots, The Geordies, The Taffies, our brothers The Paddy's, just ordinary men, tired men, from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, the Midlands and the South, Thank you Terry. Our long trips home were made livelier, less tiring and certainly less boring by having Sir PATRICK WOGAN with us in the car, and listening to your radio broadcasts and jokes. Tears fell throughout Britain when we heard the sad news. Our love and respects to his family.

Have such fond memories of Terry through listening to him on the radio, as a driver it was like having a mate in the cab with you, many a time I had tears of laughter rolling down my face. There are so few real characters left in this world and now we have one less, your passing has left a huge void in so many lives, people who were never fortunate to have met you but like me felt we knew you. Thanks for all those happy memories Terry, our loss is Heavens gain there will some mischievous goings on up there now.God bless RIP
